  • Information found: (Alan R. Clarke, Ph.D, he has been a translator and interpreter for fifteen years. He does both commercial and literary translation from Portuguese and Spanish to English. He holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and devoted his business career to providing consulting services to business organizations: psychological assessments of senior executive candidates, management training and organization development. He lived with his family in Rio de Janeiro during the '70s, where he provided consulting services to Brazilian and international companies. Alan has translated the literary works of a number of Latin American authors from Argentina, Colombia and Brazil. The Brazilian authors translated include Eduardo Alves da Costa, Rubens Figueiredo, Cristovão Tezza and Paulo Coelho.
